Join MARE Webinar:
As part of the MARE project’s mission to pioneer secure 6G architectures, this webinar brings together experts from leading European initiatives to address emerging security threats and opportunities in next-generation networks.
Participants will gain valuable insights into the MARE concept and architecture, explore key thematic areas and vulnerabilities in 6G environments, and engage with ongoing research from synergistic EU projects.
This interactive event features presentations from project coordinators and technical leaders of cutting-edge 6G research and experimentation.
MARE project aims to develop a modular, programmable security framework for 6G networks, addressing the limitations of static security in a dynamic, AI-driven, and disaggregated environment. MARE project introduces a programmable security plane and a Trustworthiness Operational Profile (TOP) to enable adaptive, cross-domain security. It supports real-time threat response and secure orchestration of services across heterogeneous infrastructures.
The MARE Webinar is a focused, interactive event bringing together leading academia and industry experts to explore the security landscape of emerging 6G systems. Through real-world use cases, project insights, and thematic discussions, the webinar will highlight evolving threats, architectural innovations, and cross-project collaboration within the EU 6G ecosystem. During the webinar, there will be an Invited Talks session featuring expert presentations from three leading European projects addressing 6G security challenges: ROBUST-6G by Gunes Kesic (EBY), iTrust-6G by Rhys Miller (Gigasys Solutions), and HORSE by Fabrizio Granelli (CNIT). Each speaker will share their project’s objectives, recent results, and contributions toward securing next-generation 6G networks.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of:
More info about the projects :
ROBUST-6G is a European research project developing smart, AI-driven security solutions for 6G networks. It focuses on automated, zero-touch security management to protect future dynamic 6G services while ensuring privacy and sustainability. For more details, visit robust-6g.eu.
iTrust-6G is a European research initiative focused on enhancing the trustworthiness of 6G networks through the implementation of zero-trust principles. The project aims to design and develop a network architecture that incorporates AI/ML algorithms for threat detection, asset compliance, explainable security policies, and asset observability. By leveraging intelligent trust and security orchestration, iTrust-6G seeks to ensure secure and resilient communication services in the evolving 6G landscape. For more information, visit iTrust-6G.
HORSE a European Horizon Europe research initiative focused on developing a human-centric, open-source, and sustainable platform for 6G networks. The project aims to create a coordinated provisioning and protection system that seamlessly integrates advancements in various domains, including predictive AI, digital twins, and programmable networking. By addressing the challenges of disaggregated, virtualized, and multi-vendor 6G infrastructures, HORSE seeks to enable secure, resilient, and intelligent network service provisioning in the evolving network-of-networks landscape.

MARE 6G is a European Horizon Europe research initiative focused on developing a secure, programmable, and modular security framework for next-generation 6G networks. The project aims to address emerging security and privacy challenges by introducing a novel security plane built upon Dynamic Open Trust (DOTs), which are modular security primitives that can be dynamically composed into programmable security services. This approach enables real-time adaptation to evolving threats in the 6G ecosystem. For more information, visit MARE6g.eu.
