The MARE website is developed by Eight Bells who is acting as the data controller.

All data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is not shared with unauthorized third parties.

We will use personal information only for the purpose it was originally collected for, and we will delete personal information if you withdraw your consent.

The information collected from the MARE website may, when necessary, be shared with the MARE Consortium and potentially also with the European Commission when reporting MARE Project results. We will only share your personal data when strictly necessary. Where possible, data will be anonymized and/or aggregated.

As the Controller, Eight Bells? has implemented numerous technical and organizational measures to ensure the most complete protection of personal data processed through this website. However, Internet-based data transmissions may in principle have security gaps, so absolute protection may not be guaranteed. For this reason, every data subject is free to transfer personal data to us via alternative means, e.g. by telephone.

We process and store personal data as long as it necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations under the Grant Agreement of the project, which is 5 years after the project end. When this data is no longer necessary for the above purposes, it will be regularly deleted.

 

The personal data is stored in the MARE database as long as you are communicating with us via the contact form.

 

In order to exercise any of the rights listed above, you have to send a message to our contact form. Besides that, you have the right to submit a complaint to your national data protection authority, if you deem that your data is processed in an unlawful way.
